So, off we go. “Your training session is my warm up” is a great way to kick off the non-beast-camp beast camp.
While the joggers go out for a jog for their training, we go out for a long run for a warm-up.
The session tonight was a 4k (approx) run up to the top of Old Sarum castle and back down again for the warm up.
We then did technical drills, which consisted of ankling. We’ll get this perfect if it kills you.
Remember, your ankles are locked in doors-flexion (toes pointed upward), your knees are flexed. You are landing flat footed.
If you missed the session, you can go for a nice long cross country run. This is our preparing to train phase.
